Hello. My name is Alessandra, and I am the Manager of your Nursery here in Ham. I have been part of the Katey’s Nursery & Pre-School team for 6 years, starting as a Nursery Practitioner (through various age groups) and then, through the in-house training program, an Apple’s (pre-school) room leader, and ultimately Deputy Nursery Manager of our Kingston upon Thames branch – a position I held for 2 years.
I am very excited to be entrusted as the new Nursery Manager, and am looking forward to bringing my knowledge, experience, artistic and creative flair to bear in Ham. We have a long tradition of providing exceptional learning and care at Kateys Nursery & Pre-School, and along with Katey I will strive to improve on every aspect of your child’s nursery experience, and personal potential, whenever and wherever I can.
Watching the children learn and reach their milestones as well as developing their confidence motivates me enormously. Each minute of my working day will be spent helping the children learn, play creatively and have fun, in order for them to grow as individuals and achieve their potential and best versions of themselves.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Design & Textiles: Level 3 in Child Development, Pediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, Child Protection, Basic Food Hygiene.
In my spare time I enjoy sewing, singing, drawing, knitting and painting.
My working days are: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
