Brentford children were working on fine motor skills using something so simple: coloured water, recycled bottle lids, and tweezers! 🎨 The children loved it and it was amazing to see how much fun they had while doing such an amazing learning! Sometimes, the simplest experiences are the most effective!

Why do leaves change colours? What colours do we see in autumn? Which stick is the longest? 🍃🍂 🍁

While exploring autumn treasures found in the Ham Lands, our pre-schoolers asked these and many other questions. Together with their teachers, they sought out the answers. Solving problems, clarifying concepts, and sharing discussions are wonderful examples of sustained shared thinking. This approach teaches children that it's okay not to have all the answers, but that we can guide them on how and where to find those answers. 🔎📚💻
A teacher's role is to extend children's learning beyond what they could achieve on their own.

Though summer is behind us and Halloween is just around the corner, the magic continues at Ham! 🌸💧 Our little ones had a fantastic time mixing flower potions and magic soups in the garden, learning concepts like 'full,' 'half-full,' and 'empty' as they poured, measured, and stirred. Outdoor play + imagination = endless fun! 🌿🌼 The glass is always half-full in Ham!
