Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
- Minimum 2 year’s childcare experience
- Knowledge of the EYFS
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote the EYFS and work as part of our team in order to provide a happy and nurturing environment in which all our children can play, learn, and develop.
- Adhere to the policies & procedures of the company and in compliance with the Children’s Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
- To build and maintain strong partnerships with our families to enhance learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

- Degree in early years/QTS (preferred)
- Minimum Level 3 in childcare
- Minimum 2 years childcare experience
- Minimum 1 year preschool room leader experience
- Effective communication skills with children, parents, management, and staff
- Knowledge of the EYFS
Main Responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with and supporting the nursery manager and deputy manager to ensure the daily running and administration of the nursery. Adhering to the policies & procedures of the company and compliance with the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
- Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
- Supervising nursery nurses & students and conducting supervisory meetings where appropriate under the guidance of the nursery manager and deputy manager.
- Organising the planning of preschool activities.
- Addressing staff and parent queries
- Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background; in particular, challenge situations where racism or discrimination is displayed.
- Keeping and monitoring accident, incident, and risk assessment records.
