Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
  • Minimum 2 year’s childcare experience
  • Knowledge of the EYFS

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote the EYFS and work as part of our team in order to provide a happy and nurturing environment in which all our children can play, learn, and develop.
  • Adhere to the policies & procedures of the company and in compliance with the Children’s Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
  • To build and maintain strong partnerships with our families to enhance learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Degree in early years/QTS (preferred)
  • Minimum Level 3 in childcare
  • Minimum 2 years childcare experience
  • Minimum 1 year preschool room leader experience
  • Effective communication skills with children, parents, management, and staff
  • Knowledge of the EYFS

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working in partnership with and supporting the nursery manager and deputy manager to ensure the daily running and administration of the nursery. Adhering to the policies & procedures of the company and compliance with the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
  • Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
  • Supervising nursery nurses & students and conducting supervisory meetings where appropriate under the guidance of the nursery manager and deputy manager.
  • Organising the planning of preschool activities.
  • Addressing staff and parent queries
  • Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background; in particular, challenge situations where racism or discrimination is displayed.
  • Keeping and monitoring accident, incident, and risk assessment records.
